Upon request – once we have at least 10 interested companies, we will organize an online delegation.
Any startup from Germany and Asia that has a product and revenue in the home market and a potential product-market fit in India is welcome to apply.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, this delegation is free for all participants.
India is currently considered one of the largest startup ecosystems in the world. In 2018, 30 startups in India have reached unicorn status, however, women still run only 14% of businesses in the startup ecosystem and raised only 5.24% of total seed capital in the country. This is why the Indian government has reserved INR 1 billion (over 12 million EUR) for women entrepreneurs.
In 2015 the Indian Government launched a Smart Cities Mission to support the development of 100 smart cities with 21 of these expected to be ready by 2021. Mobility, electricity, water and sanitation are some of the areas the Indian government wants solutions for.
With an increasing rate in urbanization and a highly English-speaking population, India has been tactically able to attract a growing number of foreign direct investments. Join us for this delegation trip to discover how you can tap into the Indian market and the huge opportunities it offers.
